Indonesia stocks gain for 5th straight session, SET declines | Bangkok Post: news


The Stock Exchange of Thailand index declines 0.38% to end the day at 1,734.54 points. The Indonesian index gained for a fifth straight session, with Bank Negara Indonesia up 7.5% and Bank Mandiri closing 5.4% higher. The losers included PTT Plc, PTT Exploration and Production Plc and PTT Global Chemical Plc. The Vietnam index slumped 3.3% to close lower for a third straight session. Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corp fell nearly 7%, while Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Viet Nam lost 6.4%.
